πŸ‡«πŸ‡·πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ Strengthening Canada-France Quantum Connections

A delegation of Canadian quantum organizations β€”Β including QIC members evolutionQ, Nord Quantique, Q-Block Computing, SBQuantum, and SoftwareQ β€” visited Paris, France from March 18 to 21st for an exciting quantum-focused Canadian trade mission.

The mission provided the Canadian delegation with opportunities to engage with French quantum counterparts and cultivate key international relationships with corporate stakeholders. Members of the delegation were also featured in a panel discussion promoting Canada's most promising startups at the Hello Tomorrow World Summit and Deep Tech Days.

Thanks to the teams at Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada, Global Affairs Canada, the National Research Council of Canada's IRAP program, and all the organizations involved in organizing the mission!

🌍🍁 Canada featured at the Global Quantum Symposium

Canada's quantum innovation prowess was a recurring theme at the opening day of the Global Quantum Symposium hosted last week by QuantumBasel in Switzerland.

D-Wave's Trevor Lanting and Murray Thom captivated attendees with insights into their pioneering annealing and gate-based quantum computing approaches. Their talk not only showcased the latest advancements but also illustrated the real-world value D-Wave's technology is bringing to customers today.

Quantum Industry Canada's CEO Lisa Lambert participated on a panel exploring global quantum ecosystems, where she highlighted some of the strengths, capabilities, and companies that make Canada's quantum landscape unique and competitive on the world stage.

Dr. Hauke Harms, Trade Commissioner at the Embassy of Canada to Switzerland & Liechtenstein, also shared perspectives during a thought-provoking panel discussion on quantum politics and defence.

Kudos to the QuantumBasel team for putting on such a great conference!
